What is the David L. Broderic Employee Scholarship Program?
The David L. Broderic Employee Scholarship Program, as established by both the Human Resources Department of The Good Samaritan Health System and the Development Office of The Good Samaritan Health Services Foundation, is a program designed to provide post high school scholarships to sons and daughters of permanent full or part time employees who fall under the GSHS Foundation umbrella. What is the Margaret L. Connell Endowed Scholarship Fund?
This scholarship program was set up by Mr. Jim Connell in memory of his wife, Margaret. Like the Broderic Scholarship it is also for children of hospital employees and has the same requirements as the Broderic Scholarship. Applicants should submit one application to be considered for both scholarships. Click here for scholarship application.

The requirements for the Mr. and Mrs. Hyman S. Caplan and Hunsicker-Przybyla Nursing Scholarship are as follows:
- Must be a resident of Lebanon County.
- Must be pursuing a nursing education
- Must be a student during the school year 2010-2011
- Information needed:
- Complete high school transcript with class standing or General Education Diploma (GED)
- All applicable transcripts with GPA if attending Nursing School or College.
- Two letters of reference submitted with application (no relatives).
Scholarship recipients must be willing to sign an agreement to work at The Good Samaritan Hospital for two years after graduation.

The requirements for The Good Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary Health Careers Scholarship are as follows:
- Must be an employee of The Good Samaritan Health System.
- Must be pursuing an education in the field of health care.
- Must be a student during the school year 2010-2011.
