Dr. Darrell was employed for 15 years by Three Rivers Cardiac Institute, providing cardiothoracic and vascular surgery at six hospitals in and around Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Darrell is presently the chairman of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at The Good Samaritan Hospital.
He performed the first open heart surgery in Lebanon County in 2005 and has led the open heart and vascular surgery program at Good Samaritan since.
Dr. Darrell specializes in all forms of adult heart surgery, surgery of the aorta and carotid arteries and surgery for heart arrhythmias
