DOING BUSINESS
WITH THE
GOOD SAMARITAN HEALTH SYSTEM

The Good Samaritan Health System (GSHS) requires all Vendor Representatives doing business with us to apply for privileges and be credentialed on an annual basis as well as adhere to the GSHS Vendor Program.

WHY DO WE REQUIRE VENDORS TO OBTAIN PRIVILEGES?

All Vendor Representatives calling on the health system to provide goods or services to the GSHS must be credentialed.  The credentialing process is a means to improve communication between vendors and the GSHS, increase vendor understanding of compliance with the GSHS policies and procedures and to facilitate smooth, efficient business transactions.  The GSHS will not conduct business with vendors or companies that fail to meet minimum certification standards.  We require that all Vendor Representatives complete certification requirements prior to meeting with staff in any Departments (including off-site locations).  Without this privilege, you will not be permitted to gain access to departments where you conduct business.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET CREDENTIALED?

The Application and pertinent information to complete the credentialing process can be obtained from the GSHS Material Management Department located at 1503 Quentin Road, Lebanon, PA or they can be downloaded from the GSHS website at
www.gshleb.org. We appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to continuing our relationship with you.
