The Good Samaritan Health System requires
all Vendor Representatives doing business with us to apply for privileges and be
credentialed on an annual basis as well as adhere to the Good Samaritan Vendor
Program.
WHY DO WE REQUIRE VENDORS TO
OBTAIN PRIVILEGES?
All Vendor Representatives calling on the health
system to provide goods or services to the Good Samaritan Health System must be credentialed. The
credentialing process is a means to improve communication between vendors and Good Samaritan, increase vendor understanding of compliance with Good Samaritan policies and
procedures and to facilitate smooth, efficient business transactions. Good Samaritan
will not conduct business with vendors or companies that fail to meet minimum
certification standards. We require that all Vendor Representatives complete
certification requirements prior to meeting with staff in any Departments
(including off-site locations). Without this privilege, you will not be
permitted to gain access to departments where you conduct business.
WHAT DO
I NEED TO DO TO GET CREDENTIALED?
The Application and
pertinent information to complete the credentialing process can be obtained from
the Good Samaritan Health System Material Management Department located at 1503 Quentin Road, Lebanon,
PA or they can be downloaded from the website below. We appreciate your
attention to this matter and look forward to continuing our relationship with
you.
HOW DO I BECOME AN APPROVED VENDOR AND BE PLACED ON YOUR VENDOR LIST?
Good Samaritan Health System does not have an “approved vendor” list. If you are interested in doing business with Good Samaritan, submit to the attention of the Director of Materials Management a short summary description of the goods and/or services that your company provides as well as contact information for your company. This information can be sent by fax to 717-270-7840 or by U.S. mail to Director – Materials Management, GSH Quentin Road Center, 1503 Quentin Road, Lebanon, PA 17042.
