What are your hours?

Inpatient Hours:             
24 hours/day, 7days/week

Outpatient Hours:           
Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday 7:30 a.m. - noon
Closed Sundays and Holidays

Do I need an appointment?
No appointments are necessary for laboratory tests. 

How long do I need to fast?
If fasting blood work is ordered, patients should be fasting for ten to twelve hours. Small amounts of water are permitted.

Should I take medication before coming in?
Unless your physician instructs you otherwise, you should take all medications as usual.

Do I need to bring anything with me?
You need to bring a signed physician's order along with your insurance cards, photo identification and any referral forms.

The laboratory is located on the first floor of The Good Samaritan Hospital at 4th and Walnut Streets.

What do I do when I arrive?
Upon arrival, please sign in at the registration reception desk in the front lobby. Please have your insurance card, identification, physician's orders and any other paperwork ready. Our friendly staff will call your name in turn to help you.
