Why is this an exciting time to be a part of The Good Samaritan Hospital?
We have a newly enlarged emergency department in addition to an open heart surgery program which began in April 2005.  We continually work to develop new procedures for respiratory care.

What are some of the new initiatives in the Respiratory Care department?
We have a protocol program that is designed for the therapist to develop a therapy plan for the patient in conjunction with the attending physician.  In addition, we have purchased state-of-the-art ventilators and use nitric oxide therapy.
