Patient Safety
The Patient Safety Authority, an independent state
agency is charged with taking steps to reduce and eliminate medical errors by
identifying problems and recommending solutions that promote patient safety in
hospitals, ambulatory surgical facilities, birthing centers, and other health
care facilities.
