The Good Samaritan Hospital is also concerned about your spiritual needs.
With your permission, your clergy will be notified of your admission (some
restrictions may apply; please refer to the Privacy & Confidentiality
section of this booklet). In addition, the services of our chaplain are
available upon request.
A copy of the New Testament and Psalms is available for use in each patient
bedside cabinet.
A non-denominational chapel is located on the first floor in the west wing of
The Good Samaritan Hospital, just beyond the Medical Library. At the Hyman S.
Caplan Pavilion, the chapel is located on the first floor near the main lobby.
Both chapels provide sacred space for private meditation and prayer for patients
and their families. Patients interested in using the chapel should ask for
assistance from their nursing staff.
