Information
The Good Samaritan Hospital
understands area businesses' growing concerns about Worker’s Compensation
issues. We have developed a comprehensive package of occupational health care services specifically
for businesses. Known as Corporate Regain, these services were launched in 1985,
and have evolved into the largest provider of occupational-health services in
this area. Over 260 local companies have become members, from school
districts to freight haulers to foundries. Chances are, our services can be
tailored to meet the particular needs of your company.
Corporate Regain works
with employers, large and small, to improve the health and well-being of their
employees. Our goal is to reduce cost by decreasing lost work time, controlling
absenteeism, and improving productivity. Together we can improve the health
of your employees and your bottom line.
Convenience is a major
feature of our program. Access is the same 24 hours a day, every day of the
year, since all services are provided through the Emergency Department. Injured employees can walk in any time of the day
or night. Appointments are available, at the same location, for rechecks and
physical exams. "Work notes" describing diagnoses and detailed work
restrictions are faxed directly to the member company, the same day in most cases,
and also provided to the employee. If a case becomes complicated, we provide
case management services at no additional charge. If you have questions about

24 Hour Coverage
Corporate Regain provides access to services whenever you need them.
Employment physicals, drug screens, and injury rechecks are scheduled during
"business hours" at our site adjacent to the
Emergency Department. For new injuries, your employees can
report to the same location where an RN will determine the most
appropriate site for treatment. Your employees need never worry whether we’ll
be open; we’ll be here all night, every day, always staffed with an experienced
and board certified physicians.
Drug Screenings
The list of businesses
throughout the United States that have established drug screening programs is
growing on a daily basis. We provide this service as part of our continuum of
occupational healthcare and offer it for inclusion in your company’s employment
application programs, worker compensation program, and for those employers wishing
to institute "reasonable suspicion" or random drug screening programs

Employment Physicals
A full range of employment
physicals are provided at Corporate Regain, including preplacement, C.D.L. (DOT),
HAZMAT, respirator, fitness-for-duty and return-to-work exams. These services
are used to discover the existence of medical/physical limitations which present
probable risk of injury or need for accommodation on the job. These exams also
establish a medical/physical baseline on new or established employees. Our recommendations
take into account the employee’s job description and the presence of limitations
which might preclude safe performance.
Our physicals are priced
competitively, and fees vary with the complexity of the exam. You, the employer,
may designate exactly what exam and testing you require. We are able to provide nearly
any type of customized evaluation you may need for your industry.
