The Nursing Services
Department of the The Good Samaritan Hospital strives to provide quality nursing
care in concert with the hospital's mission and vision. The methodology of care
provided in the medical/surgical units is a team approach to nursing care.
Primary nursing care is provided on our ICU/CVU and Pediatric units.
Family-centered care is the focus in our "New Beginning" Single Room Maternity
Center.
The Good Samaritan Hospital Access Center includes Emergency Medicine and urgent care. All
aspects of peri-operative care are available in our surgical services. Subacute
Care experiences are available in our Transitional Care Unit as well as
experiences on our Acute Rehabilitation Unit, located at the Hyman S. Caplan
Pavilion.
