The West Cornwall Family Practice will join the Good Samaritan Health System on January 1, 2014. The practice will be renamed as the Good Samaritan West Cornwall Family Practice.
The transition should be seamless for patients. Patients will still receive the same high-quality medical care at the current location, which is 101 Fairview Circle in Lebanon. The practice will continue managing care to its patients and will maintain all of the related medical records.
“We decided to make this change because it allows us to access patient information systems, billing services, and other support functions available from Good Samaritan,” said Kenneth Lepone, MD, of West Cornwall Family Practice. “We have enjoyed a strong relationship with Good Samaritan and we believe that this will help us prepare for the future. We believe these steps will allow us to continue to provide the best patient care possible and to ensure that we are managing the practice in an efficient manner.”
The Good Samaritan Health System includes a variety of primary care and specialty care physicians. Patients can access a convenient directory of independent and Good Samaritan-employed physicians by visiting www.gshleb.org and using the “Find a Physician” tool.
