If you want to quit smoking but are having difficulty doing so, you are encouraged to attend the GSHS Smoke Stoppers course beginning on Wednesday June 16. Smoke Stoppers is a comprehensive support program for smokers who want to cut back on their cigarette consumption, gain more control over their smoking habit or quit once and for all.
The course consists of eight classes. Participants are expected to attend all eight classes. The sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings, June 16, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Hospital classrooms. This is a comprehensive program for smokers who want to cut back on their cigarette consumption, gain more control over their smoking habit or quit smoking entirely. The course is offered free of charge. In addition, free nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) is offered to participants. The registration deadline is Friday, June 11.
