A list of insurance providers that currently participate with Good Samaritan Health System is available on the hospital website at www.gshleb.org. The insurance information can be found by clicking on “Patients and Visitors” tab on the home page and then select the link to “Participating Insurances.”
“By adding this list to our Web site, patients will have a convenient way of learning which insurance companies include Good Samaritan services,” said Vice President for Strategic Planning & Marketing William Mulligan. “The Web site is an excellent tool to deliver this information as we can update the list any time a change occurs.”
The list includes commercial insurance, medical assistance, managed care, Medicare advantage contracted plans and Medicare private fee for service.
The Good Samaritan Hospital includes services provided within the hospital as well as outpatient locations throughout the county to include outpatient surgery, emergency department, radiology, MRI, laboratory, physical therapy, sleep lab, visiting nurse and hospice.
Insurance providers are also listed for GSH Home Med Care and Good Samaritan Physician Services, which includes family practice, gastroenterology, oncology and hematology, cardiac and vascular surgery, general surgery and pediatrics.
It is possible that your insurance provider requires authorization prior to obtaining any inpatient or outpatient services. Contact your insurance provider for coverage details and required authorizations before receiving services.
