Job Description:The Phlebotomist performs bleeding times, applies PPD’s, collects microbiological culturettes and is primarily responsible for collecting blood specimens from both inpatients, outpatients, nursing home clients and occasionally must visit patient homes. Must use proper procedures to identify individuals and specimens, deliver specimens to the proper departments and prepare consult laboratory samples for mailing. Must work well with others and be polite, friendly, and courteous to the clients of the laboratory. Assists in the clerical duties of the department.
Part Time & Occasional
Day Shift / Every Third Weekend & a Holiday Rotation
Required Qualifications:High school graduate with valid PA driver's license required. Phlebotomy experience required.
Full Time - Hospital, LTC & out-patient draws.
Part Time - 20 hours per week - Early morning draws at LTC facilities
Occasional - Two 4 hour shifts per week - Early morning draws at LTC facilities
