Responsible for the performance of all aspects of general diagnostic imaging, accurately and independently in accordance with established procedures, protocols and policies in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in patients of all age groups. Follows all regulatory guidelines. Maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics.. Contributes to total patient care by accessing pertinent patient information and histories, release of information, general housekeeping and transporting of patients as needed. The technologist will operate diagnostic radiographic equipment to obtain optimal radiographs with the least amount of radiation exposure to the patient and others.
Part Time & Occasional
Variable Shifts / Includes Weekends, Holidays & Call Time
Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Basic knowledge of radiographic equipment. Knowledge of necessary QA & I and QC to satisfy all governing bodies and departmental and hospital policies. BLS certification either upon hire or ability to complete within introductory period. Current certification from the ARRT or board eligible to obtain registry within six months of hire date.
