Call Schedule/Work Hours
- Medicine/pediatrics and obstetrical inpatient services are covered after hours and weekends by a Night Float resident during their second or third year of training. During Night Float blocks, residents do not have additional rotation responsibilities other than care of their office continuity panel of patients. Other than via the Night Float system, no other regularly scheduled night call exists in the program.
- It is a priority for residents to be responsible for the labor management and obstetrical delivery of their continuity panel of prenatal patients.
- Our residency strictly adheres to published work hour guidelines.
